BTS Looks Very Exhausted After Performance at MAMA in Hongkong

Being a superstar requires a lot of hard work. That’s exactly what a.k.a. BTS showed at the recent Mnet Asian Music Awards which was held on December 1 in Hongkong. Delivering one of the highly-anticipated performances at the show, RM (Rap Monster) and friends looked very exhausted after their energetic set.

In backstage photos and video taken by fans, the members of the South Korean boyband appeared to have a hard time catching their breath with sweat pouring from their foreheads before they went back to their seats. They had to hold on to the rail for support as they walked up the stairs with their remaining energy.

BTS delivered a medley of their songs, including “DNA”, “MIC Drop ( Remix)”, “Not Today” and “Cypher Pt. 4”, at the final ceremony of 2017 MAMA. The boys seemed to have used all their energy while performing the intense choreography onstage.

The seven-piece group walked away with , Artist of the Year Award, at the event. It’s the second year in a row they won the prize.

After the backstage video and photos surfaced, their fans applauded BTS even more for their hard work. “I feel sad when I saw this,,, but I’m so happy to their achievements, they really did their best to make army happy.. And really deserved of what they have right now… Happy and contented army here…,” one commented.

Another expressed her concern for the members’ health, “BTS is becoming revolutionary with all these achievements and awards and their performances but due to these tight schedules I seriously feel like they deserve 4-5 month break they seriously deserve it, this job they have is so difficult and they need time to be able to gain energy, their thoughts, emotions etc. I love them but they deserve to go on like a winter wonderland break and enjoy life and come back when they’re ready. Their health is a lot more important then all of them passing out on stage.”

One other fan similarly wrote, “they have this very difficult job Im still happy for them for their achievements and worried for very thight and tough schedule.”
